Don't waste your money
The lid fastens by twisting as hard as you can into the slots. Easily detached by my resident army of squirrels but, even before that, they were managing to gnaw the peanuts through the wire mesh. They can land a man on the moon but a successful bird feeder is still a distant dream!

Very pleased with item, especially as it is easy to clean. My crows can win but they have to make much more effort!!
