Great product
I am very happy with this unit, very easy to put together I did all by myself even though I'm supposed to the weaker sex. The colour was a bit lighter than I'd seen on display in the shop but it still looks okay in the kitchen. I'm planning to get more units of other sizes and colours for other rooms.

Too heavy?
Bought this to add shelves to a workbench and for that they are fine, bigger than you may think though. The box arrived on a carrier very promptly but at 40kg is really too heavy for a one-man lift, I think the EU limit is 32kg? The instructions are beyond rubbish but the long dowels go all the way through the 'inner' two pieces and from there it just needs a bit of planning to minimise shifting it around during the build - I put it together on a tabletop so I wasn't crawling around on the floor. It is quite rigid once assembly has progressed a ways, I would recommend a bit of glue on the dowels. For me it did what I wanted, I'm happy with it.

Sturdy
I bought this as a present for the kids. 40 Kilos is too heavy for one package. Thats the only down side to this purchase. I have, however, put together a 3 pod set and they are of excellent quality and very sturdy. Well worth the money. Take 2 people when collecting.

Super strong & durable
We bought this to create a 'pub bar' in our kitchen for Christmass. Over the moon with our purchase, a little pricey but well worth the money. Super strong & durable. Only minus was the building instructions were horrendous unless you speak fluent German!

Lovely
Bought for the new nursery, very handy for our daughters bits and bobs .. My other half did moan about the instructions, he did say if he didn't rip the box open he would of taken it back .... In the end he did put it together with out any problems under an hour :) Looks great and very sturdy

Excellent value and very sturdy
Bought a mth ago for my lounge to try and gain easy acess to kids toys but without the mess. This did the job and so very sturdy for the price. Happy mummy! :-)

Easy to assemble
Pros: Very strong, easy to assemble, looks great. Cons: All 3 x sets came with minor damage / bashes. Otherwise 5 stars would have been awarded. This was the 3rd Mixxit Cube set of shelves I have purchased this year (2014). I am not "DIY Dave" therefore I was looking to purchase something that was easy to assemble but strong enough for vinyl LPs etc... I was not disappointed with these units as they are quick to put together and need minimal tools / "muscle" to erect. An allen key is included, but obviously assembly it is even quicker with a power screw driver. The units are very attractive and are slightly lighter in colour than what is pictured. I have used them for both stand alone shelving in my sons bedroom and within cupboards for LP storage (albeit the 2 x 4 cube version).

Definitely a good buy
This is a reassuringly sturdy, good looking piece of furniture. Was very easy to assemble (which is handy as the instructions provided were useless!) We had no problem with the condition as stated in previous reviews but we did reserve & collect it ourselves rather than opt for home delivery & feel it worth mentioning that carrying it to & from your vehicle should be a two person job as it was very heavy!.

Mix it cube shelf
Most corners came dented through the delivery process had to lift the item out of the van with the delivery driver as it was too heavy for him too much hassle to complain and take it it all back again.

Very pleased with purchase – Excellent
This item is very easy to assemble, very clear instructions. Looks exactly as shown in pictures very sturdy and would recommend. Also free next day delivery is what it says, arrived on time and notifications by text message meant I didn’t have to stay in all day.
