The lid does not fit !
Bought this cistern to replace one the same but I can not get the top to fit. It is just a bit too tight and will not click inot place.

Exposed Cistern Wrong
Sorry but the online pictures/drawings are not correct. The drawing shows side entry for the incoming water supply - wrong! It's bottom entry. Please try to get the right drawing for the item and its photographs.

Don't waste your money.................
Bought as an emergency fix for a broken cistern. Poor value for the money. The cistern is flimsy, buckles with the weight of water and the cistern lid doesn't fit properly, even empty and in the packaging! For £40, given the cost of the parts and the poor quality cistern - not good value. Had it not been for the immediate need, it would have gone straight back. Easy enough to fit but rubbish cistern. It'll do until I can get a proper one and then it's landfill.

Does The Job
Had an old cistern which was broke around the handle, so I bought this as a like for like replacement. Didn't realise that the inlet location was different however, but managed to make it work by using the old cistern's inlet system and using the new cistern's inlet system to plug the hole. Apart from that the unit was delivered the next day, packaged well and came in perfect condition. The unit was also easy to install and works very well.

Not as advertised
This cistern is advertised as an Armitage Shanks Regal Cistern but it is not, I had to fit it as I had already removed the old one, it is working ok and I am happy with it at the moment but I think should be as advertised and I have contacted customer services
