Not fit for purpose
Same issue as everyone else…the thread of the top nut to connect to the plug is weak and does not screw to form a tight seal, so it will continuously leak! Just keeps clicking over, very frustrating. Clearly a manufacturing flaw and needs to be removed from sale!

Not useable.
Bought it in store without seeing reviews. The sink end thread is weak and doesn't tighten up so it leaks. Even with an attempt of liberal silicone sealant, could not get a tight seal. Nut clicks over just from hand tightening. Had to throw it away and go but a different product from a plumbing store.

Poor Product
Bought this a couple of months ago. Very flimsy seal at the basin end and broken plastic washer at the telescopic entry to the trap body. There was far too much movement at the basin end and the thread was weak and clicked over even on simply hand-tightening. The result was that it leaked at all joints and after several attempts I gave up and bought a Mcalpine trap instead. Needless to say that installed without problems. This product is not fit for purpose!

NEAT PRODUCT
After a struggle with basin waste the easy bit was the trap only a slight weep on bottom seal but a little nip cured that, as for how things last only time will tell as only been on a couple of weeks but a really neat product.

Great product shame about the top washer
It's a great solution to a problem when you don't want to cut a waste pipe to fit in an extender for a fixed length product. Love the extension capability and the size of the product itself. The bottom washer is as substantial as any I've seen (including the McAlpine ones) and I have had no issue with leaks on the two above as others have reported here. However, the top washer is way too flimsy. Fortunately I had a McApline S12A-2 lying around and I just reused its washer (the original does just leak regardless of fiddling). So buy another washer if you buy one of these and you should get it to work leak free, at least I did without much effort.

Bought this a few days ago and upon opening packaging found o ring split and seal around basin thread appalling....keeps clicking past tightened point with no effort. took back for refund and purchased mcalpine from competitor.

Very poor product
Nice idea ...very bad fit .The connection to basin has an internal flange that is about 2mm too small with a o ring / washer that is so thin that it leaks at this joint .Threads here are also weak and can click past when tightening.It is now in my bin and after messing with leaks for about an hour I am going to buy a Mcalpine one.
