Avoid
I bought this today and it failed immediately, quality is lowest I have seen for the price, I have fitted a few flow valves and this is the worst I have seen.

TERRIBLE - AVOID
Absolutely terrible. Bought in store without reading reviews and I'm regretting it. I would consider myself a decent DIYer and this is probably the worst product I've ever bought from B&Q. It wont stop filling, even after adjustment. Had to replace it with another model - the cheaper Flomaster 1060, which I had bought just in case. Time will tell how the replacement will last. An hour wasted! Avoid avoid avoid!

Dreadful - it leaks - useless
I unfortunately did not read the reviews. When any other taps in the house are turned off the height adjustment moves up allowing water to flow past the seal. You have to swap a part for high pressure but despite doing that it still leaked - I had to drain it down a few times and attempt to tighten the locking collar without success. Instructions are appalling diagrams only. Swapped it for a Fluidmaster universal - which worked first time of course.

Failed within 3 weeks
fitted this replacement fill valve , was quite noisy when filling , then failed within 3 weeks of use . . . replaced now with a "fluid master " .

Worst thing I have ever bought in B&Q
Seals are very bad quality, keeps filling the water tank even it reaches the level at which supposed to stop filling, instead it just does it more slowly which annoys everyone during the night, plus I have to replace it which will take another hour and a half to fix it and more money to waste! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Not fit for purpose
Product leaked so would not stop filling once it shut off. Bought 2 as I thought the first one was faulty but 2nd one did exactly the same.

Does not work
Wish we also read the reviews as purchased 2 ready for plumbers to install both didn’t work leaked and wouldn’t stop filling will be returning as not fit fit purpose please don’t buy

DO NOT BUY
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Not got for purpose at all. Does not shut off the water. Ended up buying a second one thinking it was just a broken seal, same happened. Do not purchase this!
