Weed killer
This makes ",weed killing" hard work,o.k for tiny single roots,but expensive to run it would take hours to complete the average front drive,bit like a hair dryer on steroids. Better off with a lance and butane gas.

Much Better Than Reviews Suggested
My old burner ( different make) packed up just after I had started. So I looked on line at B&Q and was not impressed with the reviews, but I thought I would try it. If you slightly ignore recommendations and leave it on top of the weed till it’s on fire it works great AND THE WEEDS DO NOT RETURN. If you use recommended wait till crackling noise and move it does not work. If it rains day after using cracking method green shoots appear in the middle of the dead bits.

Pointless unless it’s tiny weeds
Waste of electricity do not buy Use weed killer or old fashioned elbow grease!!!!

Does what I wanted it to.
I have a brick patio, lots of moss and small weeds between bricks....this burner has worked for me. Only complaint....a very short lead so I had to lug an extension lead around with me.

Rubbish... But great for lighting bonfires
Bought one of these to clear my drive of weeds. Stood there for ages but nothing happened. Was going to return it, but I tried to use it to light a bonfire. Bingo! Lit it extremely quickly. So in all... No good for weed killing, but ideal for bonfires

What a load of rubbish
Load of rubbish wished I had read reviews first takes ages to do it. I gave up after 5 mins. Tryed again dat after but do know why I bothered.

Totally useless
I can’t believe that B+Q sell something so useless. It takes forever to slightly wilt weeds, might as well use a hairdryer or cigarette lighter. Save your money and avoid this, we will be returning our one.
