Worsted - a classic colour from F&B
Classic colour, so typically F&B, Worsted is a timeless shade and in Estate Emulsion is as matt and anything we have used, flattened any minor imperfections perfectly

Keeping it neutral
A difficult subject being a summer house in a prominent position and subject to light and shade throughout the day. This meant that the choice of colour was critical and needed to be an earth colour not to stand out. Very pleased with the end result and your suggestion of Purbeck Stone worked for windows and door.

Nice paint but doesn't keep long.
We decorated our lounge some years ago using Worsted 284 and Pavilion Gray 242 both in Modern Emulsion finish. The paint is very good quality and covered in one coat. So much so, that we had half a tin of each left over. So when we had a tiny little nick that needed touching up, no problem I thought. Except that when I opened the tins they had solidified and settled out so that they were unusable. Never had this before. I've got older paints that I know would be fine with a good stir. Not Farrow and Ball! I was then very disappointed to learn that Farrow & Ball do not provide samples of all finishes in all colours. It turns out they only supply samples in Estate emulsion which, as I say, I find very disappointing for a premium manufacturer making high cost products. Also, they only supply the paints we used in a minimum of 2.5 litres whereas some are available in one litre sizes. So to touch up our tiny little dink would cost an absolute fortune to cover up and we would be left with a full tin which wouldn't keep more that a few months. So we had to settle for the sample in a different finish which doesn't blend in that well. Their advice was to repaint the whole wall. Not a real world option in my opinion. So, lovely paint, just be careful which finish and colour you use and buy less than you think you need as it doesn't keep long. Better to see how far a smaller tin goes then you can judge how much more you will need to complete the job.

Dead flat in kitchen family room
Painted our kitchen family room with the dead flat, bought 2 5l, used full tin and a quarter, goes on really well, the room is south west facing, this looks bright and modern during the day and goes darker at night so feels cosy! We painted the skirtings and door frames all in the dead flat, looks so good, goes great with the high gloss white handless kitchen units which have grey wood surrounds. Would defo recommend!

A firm fan of F & B paint
I wish I'd known just how good these F&B paints are, many years ago, but I discovered them 12 years ago when we refurbished our kitchen, I will have nothing else now, Gorgeous colours and very hard waring, a treat to use too.
