Fine cut but poor quality

I bought one of these saws for D.i.y and I was disappointed, I used it for the first time today but im taking it back for a refund as its not as good as I thought would be, think twice before you buy one.

Doesn’t quite do the job

I’ve had this for a while now, it was my first mitre / table saw, but have outgrown it all too quickly, the size of wood it can take is just that little bit too small - especially the table saw, and the metal blade guard, stops you doing multiple passes... For the right size piece of wood it does it’s job really well, but I find time after time that I’m thwarted at the last moment. In addition the markings for degrees and the table saw are slightly out, so you need to compensate for that and make your own marks. I’m not highly skilled or more than a diyer, but have outgrown it and should have bought something better in the first place

quality of product

bought this about 18 months ago looke d ideal purchase for diy but disappointed not very successful when using the the options the saw has to offer . Found bench saw guide very flimsy when cutting this has broken at the screw for tightening guide .Would add I am not a beginner at diy. Overall found product disappointing and would not recommend this product.

Versatile

Very useful and versatile addition to my power tool collection. However - as a table saw it is limited to ripping 14cm max width so the first thing I did was use it to make a table top extension so I can now cut larger pieces of board.

disappointing

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago, have used it, & to be honest, I'm not really impressed, table saw 1st,:- guard loose and flimsy, guides refuse to remain in place & move @ the slightest touch, so resetting is needed after almost each cut. chop saw:- ok for smaller items like picture frames. being honest, if I hadn't disposed of the packaging I would have returned it after the 1st use..... if I had to purchase another saw would I buy this model/make again??? answer to that is a definite NO regarding model, but manufacturer is a big YES

Pretty good for the money

Bought this as it combined both mitre and table saw functions in one product at a good price. I have used it for cutting wood in both modes. In mitre mode it works well, cutting quickly and easily although there is a fair bit of play so accuracy isn't that high. in table saw mode, it is somewhat more difficult to work with. The play makes it difficult to set up and align work accurately and the rip fence is not particularly rigid. My main issue with operation in table mode is that the interlocks (one on the latch at the power lead entry and one operated by the removable guard) frequently prevent the switch from latching as they are poorly protected from dust ingress, often the machine needs to be switch to mitre mode to clean between each cut for it to work properly. Overall however it is a good product for occasional consumer use.

Fury 6

This is a great, versatile saw for the money. Takes a little bit of getting used to but I've laid a few lami floors and a deck with no probs. Really pleased with my saw.

Cheap Rubbish

I have just returned the second of these which developed the same fault as the first had out the box, switch gear stops working and the release mechanism for the main pivot jams. I suspect the two are linked as a safety feature. I would avoid this like the plague. Cheap but definitely not cheerful!

terrible quality

Flimsy plastic, fisher price type tool. Fine for laminate flooring probably. Anything else I would even bother. The table top bends easily with your finger its basically plastic and cheap, too good to be true, sent mine straight back.
