hurried external painting
my son had scaffolding up to replace guttering, his painter called to say he was not able to take advantage of scaffolding to paint soffit board and down pipes. i looked for a tin of paint that would treat both wood and metal and this did the trick. it dried very quickly and i even managed to give wood a second coat before scaffold was dismantled.

I bought this for one of my job and I could easily apply two coats in one day, as this quick drying paint is amazing 🤩

Very good paint
Bought to do an outdoor wooden arch and porch. Managed to do two coats on the large arch and one coat on the fairly long American style porch before running out of paint. It's thick so won't bother applying a second coat to the porch for this year as the tin is pricey (hence the four stars) but ideally two coats are needed, more if applying white onto a darker colour. The colour itself is a bright white and so far so good with wear and tear. I found the usual garden shed type paints not robust enough but this feels more up to the job. Time will tell.

Good product/easy to use
Bought for window frames in an exposed, seaside situation. Very easy to work with and quick drying so the job can be easily and quickly completed. Easy clean up afterwards. Very good finish. The acid test will be how long will it last?

Good results quickly
I was initially sceptical about the use of upvc paint, but my fears were unfounded. Excellent product. Easy to use and instant results. Looks very smart and a huge improvement on the ugly brown finish underneath! Thank you B&Q, thank you Dulux.

Disappointing
With the Dulux name and the fact that it is quite expensive I was expecting better quality. It seemed quite thin and even after the two coats recommended, it didn’t go on very smoothly. I’m not satisfied with the finish but will now wait to see if it really does shield from the weather.

Works really well
I bought this to paint my double glazed door from a horrible dog poop brown to a lovely crisp white. It worked a treat, I did dilute it down a tad as it’s very thick but after around 4 coats it is as smooth and crisp white as can be. Very impressed. The contrast from the B&Q Valspar mixed grey paint and the crisp white is stunning. The garden is now in its way to being a nice place. Still lots to do but I’m doing it all myself and this is my first garden so it’s exciting to learn it all along the way. I recommend the paint, just dilute a little bit each time you decant it into your tub.
