Avoid
Been using different dulux products for good few years. Never complained. But this time I'm truly disappointed. 3 coats and is still far from acceptable (I've done everything by the book). So had to buff it down and recoat it again. Runny as hel and doesn't really bond with recommended undercoat. Avoid at all cost if u want to stay sane.

Thin and runny, poor coverage.
I've painted our front doors with Weathershield 'Monarch Red' over the last 30 years, in 4 different houses, and been very satisfied with the ease of use, coverage and gloss finish. I bought a new tin last autumn, together with the appropriate Weathershield primer and undercoats, and applied them then to my front door, but the weather turned before I could add the gloss. Only now have I had the combination of over 10deg, dry and wind free. I put on the first coat of gloss, and was disappointed at how thin and runny the paint is. Very messy, running down the door and the brush, poor coverage. Thankfully, I found a much older tin in the hut, which is much thicker and covers well. I've used this for the second coat, which is giving a great finish. I wonder if the formula for this paint been changed, or maybe I got a tin from a faulty batch, but I can't recommend it.

Terrible
If you're trying to work on the exterior of doors or windows this paint is completely impractical. Its awful to apply, has poor hiding power and a 16 hour curing time! The paint sags and runs so easily - it's almost watery in consistency. Do not use if you want to stay sane!

Very wet and runny
Still wet after 16 hours. It was quite runny when I applied it. Sad to see it continued to drip overnight. Going to have to sand down. It’s a very runny and dark paint. Also a rip off at £22

Awful paint!!
I'm currently putting a third coat on my front door and it looks like I'll be putting a fourth coat on! It's too thin, almost like using a watery glue. Drips and runs with terrible coverage. I won't be using it again

Enriching colour
This paint is lovely to work with and I bought it because it was the colour I wanted for outside metal. Two coats was all that was required and the finish is excellent. I hope they don't take this colour off their selection.

Covers really well
This is the second tin I have purchased and found it to be of excellent quality, and covers really well.

Good coverage
The colour that was shown on the tine matched up to the finished product. It was easy to apply however as it was a professional paint it did not quite have the properties of a non drip paint

Terrible Product
I have just completed putting on a second coat of this awful paint and it has still not covered properly. I have used the recommended undercoat (2 coats) and found that the paint simply did not "bond". It was like water despite using a hand whisk in an electric drill to mix it. It runs even after working with a brush which only causes the undercoat to bleed through. I expected better from a branded name like Dulux.

Describes rich colour
Excellent coverage with only one coat but really rich with two coats. Not able to complete painting due to weather conditions and will now wait until the spring.
