Absolute Rubbish
Very surprised Dulux has put out such a bad paint. thick as treacle, doesn't adhere to the surface ( used it on wood) comes off three days later if you rub it with your hand, have put on three coats still comes off, the surfaces were prepared correctly sanded, undercoat all a waste of time stay well clear of this paint

You get what you pay for
Really thick, doesn't drip, perfect for covering black exterior wood on my mock tudor house.

Satin black
Been in the trade 32 years this is one of the best water based paints on the market, highly water repellent, concerning finish I use a synthetic bristle brush & always dampen first. Great on beams on black & white houses.

I'm very happy with this paint !
I've been using this paint for years on external fencing. Applies easily, even on fairly rough previously unpainted wood. Covers well - one coat is enough - and lasts even longer than they claim on the tin. There's no getting away from the fact this paint is seriously expensive, but I think it's worth it from the time saved by only needing one coat and then many years before it needs re-painting.

Poor quality control
I bought 2 tina of this to cover a large area. One was like toffee as described by another reviewer and prooved difficult to get a reasonable finish. The other tin flowed bettee but was a very dark charcoal colour rather than black with a cimpletely matt finish. Avoid like the plague. I am goibg to have to repaint the area concerned.

It is like painting with toffee!
It is so thick, it is impossible to paint a decent coat on a front door. Waste of money and now I am buying another brand.
