Good quality. Easy to use. Did a good job. Used as undercoat on garage door

OK but needs a LOT of prep as its water based

Due to policies regarding VOCs, this paint is waterbased. This means it is ok on brand new wood, but like most applications you may already have surfaces in your house previously painted with a solvent based paint or varnish and it will not adhear after a light sanding. You will need the patience to sand the surface back to bear wood and within an inch of its life (and use a wire brush for any mouldings etc that aren't flat surfaces.) On the plus side, it is easier to work with rather than solvent as it doesn't show bursh lines etc as much. I guess Dulux's hands are tied. Irnonically, it sticks extremely well to the varnished wooden handle of one's brush when it comes time to clean up.

Easy to use and provides a good base

I bought a tin of this primer. It needed a quick stir then just applied to the wood. Couldn't be easier. Dried well and, when painted over, made life quite easy.
