- At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

Overpriced and poor quality
In light of the brand name and the price paid, (and having used the same brand and colour 7 years ago) I was expecting a quality product. However, the coverage, this time, is awful. You need to apply at least 3-4 coats to achieve an even finish. Any less and it looks like only a primer coat has gone on! Coastal Glow is a lovely colour, it just takes too long to achieve a quality finish. We will definitely be opting for a different brand when the next refresh is due.

Different to actual paint
Very different to the Coastal Glow paint we bought after we'd used this tester. The tester is a warm white or pale cream whereas the actual paint has much more pink in it and is basically pale peach - which isn't what we wanted at all. Not happy as we're going to have to get the decorator back in at considerable expense - don't see the point in selling testers if they're so different to the actual paint colour.

Not as warm as Honey Beam
Not as warm as Honey Beam, but a possible candidate for a dark lounge

Fantastic!
I bought this for a small bedroom and it really makes the room feel big, light and sunny. I see the other reviewer had issues with coverage but I found one coat was absolutely fine, but I was applying to initially white walls.

This new light reflecting paint is just superb,a great shade Coastal Glow.

Really reflects light but poor coverage
I used this paint on a narrow half-landing. It has worked wonders and really brightened up a dark corner. My only quibble is that a 2.5 l tin was only just enough to cover about 12 sq m with two coats.

Very cool colour effect
This Light & Space Cheaper seems to adapt its colour to the lighting condition, varying from almost white to golden yellow, very cool effect! I cannot compare to normal emulsion in the same condition, but I would suggest this paint, expensive but cheaper than in other shops.

Cheaper at bq
Pleased with finish however some walls needed three coats (although background was white )

Poor
I bought this paint thinking by spending a bit more I would get quality and good coverage......how wrong I was! It took 4 coats to cover a light blue wall, patchy and lumpy. I wanted to return it to B&Q but was half way through painting and wanted to finish the job so just put up with it. Dulux has let itself down with this expensive waste of money.

Nothing special
Bought this for our very small cottage which can be quite dark so wanted something to lighten it and thought this would be just the thing. It was going over a similar colour so assumed one coat would be enough. However it looks no different to any other paint and I still have dark shadowy corners. It also looks a patchy in places so its definitely going to need a 2nd coat. I think a normal satin paint in Magnolia would have been just as good and would have been cheaper. Save your money.
