Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM is a single-pack barrier coating for above ground use. It is supplied ready to use. It is available in black or white with a consistency similar to that of thick emulsion paint. The product is applied in two coats. Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM Is suitable for use on solid floors, embedded timbers and walls. It is not suitable as a bond coat on walls where Drybase Flex Membrane or Drybase Bondaid Plus (SBR) can provide a suitable alternative, contact our technical team for further information. Once applied, the product cures to form a membrane that is flexible and elastic. Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM is water-based and can be applied to damp substrates by brush, roller or spray. The applied product is typically touch-dry in one hour. Drybase Liquid-Applied DPM provides a barrier to damp and ground gases (including radon, carbon dioxide, and methane).

Easy to work with and to apply. Time will tell as regards performance, but have every confidence it will provide an effective damp proofing barrier.

Honest review - time will tell
I bought this as a cheap fix to dpm floor in kitchen failing and leading to mild damp - the property being 1930's did not have any airbricks in exterior walls, so I started by cementing and installing these - then for the floor, instead of digging it all up, I opted for this product. Its quite thick and I put several coats on within 24hrs - the product dries to form a rubbery seal on a brilliant matt white finish - I am now due to [put some new lino on - to be fair, I've noticed a difference just by installing airbricks and the floor appears to be less cold/damp since and once this drybase product has gone its even more prominent. It seems like a good product and doesn't have a strong vapour, although I wore all safety gear whilst applying.

Did exactly what I wanted it to do formed a barrier on a damp concrete floor in old conservatory . Product good, delivery!..if your not at your door within a couple of minutes photo taken and away they go had to wait 2 days for a re delivery,put me well behind.

Material would appear to be capable of solving the problem although not yet convinced that it has in this case. Will be contacting safe guard to get advice on application of a third coat. Problem likely due to my under coverage. Surface remains sticky underfoot for more than 24 hours which hinders the application of the second coat.
