Cracking piece of kit
Purchased this to replace a succession of cheaper alternatives. Been putting off purchase for too long and wish I hadn’t. This is perfect for my requirements and I have no regrets with the purchase. It comes with one collet to clamp only the various accessories included. My needs are for a wide variation of tool diameters and so I purchased a Dremmel variable chuck at the same time which allows a wide variety of tool diameters from approximately 0.5mm to 3.6mm. This was a brilliant decision which removes the necessity to change collets. (Highly recommended)

Useful tool
Really useful the only drawback is battery life is short needs at least 2 batteries but only comes with one.

Top present
My husband has wanted a dremel for years. There seems to be lots of little jobs where the phrase "if I had a Dremel I could just ...." has been uttered. So this year I decided to get him one. I chose the cordless version so that he cannot cut through the power cord when he puts it down before the tool has stopped spinning (he has managed this with other tools). He loved the tool and spent ages looking at each of the attatchments and sorting them in the box provided. He's used it a few times already while making another section to expand the dining room table even further. A great tool and a great gift.

Used all the time
There are loads of cheapie 'Dremel-esque' tools around these days but the quality of the real thing sets it apart. It's a difficult product to review as it cover so much - sanding, cutting, polishing, engraving, grinding, sanding. I frequently use it in place of much larger power tools as most of the time it does the job and is light and easy to wield. That said, sometimes Dremel slightly 'oversells' the capabilities of some add ons. For example, a £27 'mini-saw' attachment was billed as good for cutting laminate floor but wasn't really up to that particular task. Still, it gets used much more than any other electric tool and I love mine.

Fantastic
This is something I have been promising myself for sometime - and it didn't disappoint. The only drawback was detailed instructions on exactly which accessory was used for what but I muddled through. Also purchased the cutting accessory kit which is immensely useful.

dremel 8200 cordless
Great tool, as advertised. Being cordless was very handy for using outside i.e.:- sharpening chain for chainsaw on site. Unfortunately the sharpening stone is wearing down at an alarming rate! But overall a very good buy.

My son uses this and says it is excellent and has a fast battery charge time from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. An fantastic tool for many jobs in and outside

A handy little tool
I do a lot of craft projects and bought this as it's smaller and more convenient than getting the big tools out for little jobs, and it hasn't disappointed. It's lightweight and easy to handle once you get used to it. The battery doesn't last as long as I'd have liked, it jammed in my work when the battery ran out, but it charged fairly quickly and is much easier than trying to deal with an electric cord. I love the carry case and the little box containing the attachments as it keeps everything tidy. My only criticism is the lack of attachments or guidance on which one is best used for what, it's pretty much trial and error. I liked the poster showing the other equipment and add-on's in the range, and could spend a fortune purchasing them! Overall, a great little tool I'd highly reccommend.
