Realistic Log Stove
I bought this type of stove to replace a gas stove that been installed 23 years ago which had stopped working, and I could not get parts anymore. I did not want to spend over £1000 to replace it so I opted for a look-alike electric stove, The main heating is gas central heated radiators which is very efficient, but it is nice to have a fire as a focal point in the room. Delivery was great. The real fire effect is very realistic. As I was using the logs there was no need for any installation. Only criticism is the handset is not very effective, you need to be under 2mtrs from the fire and not the 5mtrs that it's supposed range and the noise from the fan is louder than I would like. Otherwise very good.

First Class stove electric fire
What a great product. So well made, really looks like a real wood burner, even when off. Also able to change the display to coal effect. Good heat output and not noisy. I bought a mock outlet plastic pipe which sits on the top under a wooden beam to complete the effect. Bought this elsewhere as only had a curved one available at B&Q.

Seriously noisy
Bought this based on reviews it was quietest on market- absolute rubbish- can hear over watching iPad on headphones on my lap- was 4 weeks late after delivery date and had to chase supplier to find out what going on and delivery company just wanted to charge loads of extras to deliver how it had been advertised as standard when ordered- basically one rip off after another from start to finish. Also fire effect looks seriously naff. I bought an £85 make as I liked the green colour and it’s proven to be a better quality and much quieter product than this nearly £500 one.

Good Product
This product does what it says and we are pleased with it. We had to exchange our original purchase for a new one as it developed a squeaking noise after 3 days. New one seems OK. Staff at Sutton branch where it was exchanged were very helpful and efficient although it was difficult to return the item due to it's size and weight. No delivery available.

Dimplex Cassia Noir Fire
Very realistic fire display, and when switched off it looks like cooling embers. We love it.

Excellent 👌
We needed a new fire to replace one previously purchased from B&Q about 5 years ago. This one by Dimplex is superb. The weight when I collected it from the branch said it all. It really is weighty. The finish is excellent and in line with products a lot more expensive than this one. The heat is expelled from the bottom of the fire and heats a room 4mtrs x 4mtrs very quickly. These are so good we bought another one for our front room as well. I love the room when this fire is on.
