Great electric traditional stove fire
I bought this fire as it is just perfect for my cottage which dates back to 1800. Still a modern style but adds some character to the stone fireplace. I've added a few silver birch logs and an aspidistra plant on the hearth which complements the fire perfectly. Oh, yes the heat from the fire is just perfect for the room. 5* packaging and delivery . Keeping the costs down and the warmth up
We bought this electric fire as a back up to our central heating, in order to keep costs down, when we only wanted to heat one room, and it's proven to be very efficient indeed .. it warms up a room in no time for little cost

For the price a realistic looking electric fire
We love this fire! The coals are actually coal and it looks gorgeous. I would recommend a visit to your local B and Q store to see all the fires lit . The website pictures don’t really give a true view.

Good looking fire
The fire looks really good and solid. Great flame effect. Very poor heat output on 1 kw setting (compared to a cheap heater I have on a 750w setting). Very noisy and can still be heard when tv on. When on 2kw setting heats up the room quickly so you only need it on for short bursts, which is just as well given the noise.

Noisy flame effect
Constant horrible noisy grinding flame effect. Only 1 months old. Very unsatisfied.

Lovely and cosy
We bought this fire to replace a wood burning stove which was too small to heat our room efficiently- we wanted it for the glow effect rather than the heat as we also have radiators but the heating element is instant and very effective. The fire uses real coal and has a lovely realistic glow at the front. We are very happy with it and know we will use it a lot in the winter
