Anchoring electric shower to wall
I bought these wall anchor fixings to secure a new electric shower to a partition wall in the bathroom because they expand out umbrella-wise in the void to give a secure fix

A great product if used correctly
We brought these for our new build as all the walls are hollow plasterboard! They do work but you need to drill the hole, bang it in with a hammer, and BEFORE you mount whatever you need, put the screws in and tighten slowly. They will look like they are coming out of the wall but they go back in as the backs open up and they pull the claws into the wall. Then simply unscrew the screws and they are set ready to use.

Excellent product

Warning!! Requires a setting tool!
I sent a friend into our local store to get some plasterboard fixings. She was advised to get these by a member of staff who told her ' yeah, just screw them up and they expand inside the wall, dead easy'. So that's what I did, and the teeth on the flange simply chew into the plasterboard as the whole thing rotates and fails to set - they must be installed with a setting tool that doesn't rotate them when expanding the flange.

Gets the job done at a good price.
I bought these wall anchors to hang a cube box that should have used all four anchors but three were more than strong enough for the job. Use a drill bit the same size as the tip of the anchor, then use a hammer to gently tap the rest of the anchor all the way through. It's a tight fit but it will go. Finally bang the sharp little tangs (which could do with being a bit longer) into the wall. Job done.

Perfect for the purpose
Bought these to fix a dartboard to a plasterboard wall. Took advice from the guy in B&Q who recommended these and they were perfect. Easy to use & take the weight of the dartboard no bother.
