New and improved products like this is very refreshing. The replaced lock from metal to plastic makes the unit work somuch better.

cheap junk made of plastic

bought it to replace the broken one. the latch is all plastic inside and broke after I moved handle a few times. it got stuck inside and would not eject anymore.. really poor quality product. don't buy, it is cheap so you won't waste much of your money but you will definitely waste time having to install it and then only go and buy another somewhere else

Poor quality

Two of the three were faulty, the catch kept sticking , I will return this item and go elsewhere

Sticks badly

the mechanism was sticking badly straight out of the packet - the catch would push in to the barrel.... and stay there. Despite working the action for some time and oiling it, it hardly improved. Wouldn't trust it to keep the door shut and would also worry that it might jam shut. Poor quality.

Not great

This latch is very poor quality. Flimsy construction, and comes with slotted screws where the screwdriver slot is so shallow, you cannot get a firm purchase without the screwdriver coming adrift and damaging the screw head.

Tubular latch

I brought 2x tubular latches, they were very easy to fit. The only problem I had was the door would not close as the door handle hit the door frame. Please check the size of your door handles before you fit as you may need a longer latch like I did.
