Leak
I just installed in the bath, in between the joints is a leak, I got video but this review asking from you tube, so I add a picture from video, very disappointing product

Everyone’s say it’s bad ?
mines just fine just make sure you apply everything correct if you don’t know how to there’s instructions on where to put the o rings mines not leaking or anything working just fine

Product seems faulty to me
I bought this product on 3rd Mar 2022 The product looked fine in packaging and I expected a 30 minute change over with The one to be removed that had a small drip leak . I fitted the new part ove 10 times First without anything other than PTFE tape. Eveytime there were two leaks. Each time having to disassemble. I then added Plumbers mate, silicon. Again leak leak leak . There are far too many parts with rubber seals I think there are five seals and when tightening one in particular expands under pressure making leak worse I then slackened off - leak tightened -leak. Whatever I did a leak occurred Not massive but bigger than the leak from the one I was replacing and the old one is at least 5 years old I spent 5 hours yesterday and three hours today. Putting on taking off cleaning , taping again tightening leak leak leak I have to say I think there is a fault and BQ should read all previous reviews and sort What’s the point of leaving reviews if you don’t do anything about it. I was almost crying sue to the ammount of time wasted Guess what! It’s still got a tiny leak. I will test for another 24 hrs and if not sorted it’s going back and I will demand my money back and that they review this product . I just wish I had read previous product reviews and would have avoided completely . I felt a complete numpty taking so long to sort out such a simple job

Leaks
Avoid this unit, leaks. Seems to be a design issue the overflow pipe doesn't flow quickly and the seal leaks no matter what.

Like many reviewers, I spent ages on my back skinning my knuckles trying and trying to get it to seal. Got it to work - job done. But now the top plug has broken off the stem. Looking at the broken part I am surprised it lasted as long as it did. False economy buying this rubbish.

Bath waste
Bought this for a new bath installation will not seal there are too many parts to it 4 seals yes 4 seal impossible to stop it leaking

Waste of time and money..
Brought this for my new bath while in store, for once, didn’t research before... Wish I had. Terrible product, spent most of the day trying to stop it leaking, it’s made a right mess of the floor. Now I’ve looked at the reviews, wish I’d seen them before. Tried ptfe, silicone etc but nothing will stop this over priced sieve from leaking. Back in the bag to return tomorrow.

Do Not Buy!!!!!
This leaks. Like all the other reviews say. This is not an installation problem, purely design flaw. B&Q - you need to take this off the shelf. With all these reviews, who would be at fault if severe damage was caused due to this product which has been brought to your attention on numerous times.
