Brilliant!
Brilliant performance, at 540 lumen, it's the best I've been able to find in the shops. Good that they are dimmable too, since at full blast the five I put in my kitchen light fitting makes the illumination rather too bright. The beam is wide, so resulting lighting is even and shadowless. Brilliant price when I bought them, £4 each when you buy 4 or more. (Otherwise £5 each.) Five year guarantee, so, unlike previous reviewer, I'm keeping the receipt. I hope they last!

They just don't last
Diall keep changing the design and wattage of these LED reflector 'bulbs' but they still do not last nearly as long as the average old-style incandescent lamp. I have had three out of four of these fail in less than 12 months, and many similar lamps have failed in the past. No, I didn't keep the receipt for these 'long life' lamps.

Very bright even light and good value.
Very happy with these, have bought other makes but not as good as this one which is much cheaper. Light is bright and even, much better than the 50w halogen ones they replaced.

Constant glow
We bought this product last month to go into our bedroom down-lighters. We have used LED everywhere else in the house and this was the last room to be changed. They were very easy to fit and the light they give off is lovely and bright and I much prefer it to the previous old bulbs, but..... and its a big but...... the bulbs constantly glow when off. We have had them checked by an electrician who has said this is a common issue with dimmable LED's. We swapped out the light switch for a plain on/off (rather than dimmable) in case it was causing residual current, but the problem remains. When you switch the lights off the bulbs continue to emit a low level glow which is very annoying in a bedroom and seems mad to use LED to improve energy performance when the bulb then continues to glow. So now we will replace with non-dimmable LED's. These are dimmable LED's are expensive and my advice is to steer clear of them until technology improves. Complete waste of money.
