the little beast that could
I own a couple grinders made by dewalt, the difference is they use a cord. This grinder was purchased to use in remote locations without power available, and it became more, so much more. I now use this for most grinding, cutting, and cleaning as opposed to the corded ones that I own, it is powerful enough to use on most projects, and the absence of a cord makes it convenient. My corded grinders now sit collecting dust, only to be used once in a while.

I love this grinder
I bought it over 1 year ago now and i regret not getting one sooner since i use it all the time! It may not spin as high of rpm as one that plugs into 110v but it still gets the job done! If you use this grinder for the all day projects. I would also recommend upgrading to a dcb240 or any xr 4ah battery as the grinder takes alot to run

Grinder
Grinder is a great tool but battery 5ah or under drains down for heavy duty work

Amazing tool
I needed a cordless grinder for situations where I didn’t have power and bought this one! It’s amazing and doesn’t eat the battery really fast! I love it’s power and the way the handle is designed. I only buy dewalt tools, they are the best in every way! I’ll never buy another brand again and I plan on buying every cordless tool dewalt makes and I’m about half way there! Great products keep em coming!!!!!

The power of corded, the convince of battery.
Has just as much power as any corded I’ve owned without the hassle. I won’t be going back to being tethered to a cord.

Great Power and Portability
From purchasing this unit, overall paid a very fair price at such a competitive level. Has since used other DeWalt 20V products including the reciprocating saw, impact drill/driver and weed wacker. All the DeWalt 20V products I have used thus far have given me great performance at a great value and wouldn't even compare them to other competitors like Milwaukee for they are lighter in weight and have very comparable power and features at a greater price value.

Love this Grinder
Been Using the DCG412 a lot lately with some current project in garage. I never thought of a battery operated angle grinder would be so useful tell I switched from corded. What a beast with a 6 ah battery. Love the push button lock to switch out disks. Highly recommend this grinder for anyone doing metal work. The 20 Volt platform is the best I've used so far.

Battery Eater
I really love how handy it is to have a grinder hanging off my belt, instead of dragging a cord everywhere. It's been a great tool to have around, a proper grinder without a cord pulling me off a ladder is a great idea. The biggest problem I've had is trying to keep it supplied with juice. Trying to grind through some stucco, I burned through a 2ah battery, and two 5ah batteries before I made a 3 foot cut! I actually wound up putting one of the 5ah batteries in the fridge to cool it down. That's of course a pretty extreme use case, for 90% of the work I do, this grinder is phenomenal!

Convenient tool
Great convenient tool , mostly for small jobs. Doesn't seem to have the same force as my corded dewalt. But for small jobs , hard to access , or where power outlets are not available, will definetelly do the job. I do use the xr max 20 with it, the max 20 .... has a really short life with the grinder.
