Excellent Product
I have used this product for the last four years applying it to my Caravan Decking every two years. It is very easy to use with either brush or spray and is long lasting.

Good
Looks really good when finished, but certainly needs two coats, and with large deck can become expensive,quick. Doesn’t go as far as it says.

Coverage not quite what it says on the tin
My deck is 5m x 3.6m so around 18sqm. The tin says it will do 2 coats on 20sqm. Failed miserably. My deck has been down 5 years and has not been treated so needed more, it required 2 1/2 tins (6-7 litres) to do the 2 coats, the first one took around 1 3/4 tins, the second coat about 3/4. Maybe I was being a bit generous. I am sure that any other brand would have required the same quantity. Maybe on newer decking that hasn't been weathered so much it will go further. Apart from that it does a good job of beading the water and gives the wood a nice deeper glow which defiantly improves things and looks natural. Should have done it after a year or two not 4 or 5. I jet washed my deck which was mostly OK but if you don't have one use some decking cleaner.

Great product once I got it open !
After much frustration of trying to open this product...I called local B&Q store ... felt a bit stupid bit the lady I spoke to was so lovely...even said she'd had the same issue herself... after conferring with colleagues she came up with a solution for me ...such great customer service...wish I could remember her name ...a gem of a lady. Thank you. The product itself did the job well and was very satisfying to see the rain bobble and rest ontop of the decking... so it definitely works.

Extremely unhappy with this purchase.
On the tin it states that, " this 2.5l tin covers up to 20 metres squared with 2 coats brush applied." My deck is 18 metres square so I expected 1 tin to cover it with 2 coats. Despite the fact that I used a brush and applied it thinly, it took the entire tin to cover 9 metres square with one coat. I had to buy a second tin to finish the first coat. I would have to buy 2 more tins to do a second coat. Which makes it 4 times as expensive as advertised. The B & Q website states coverage is 8 metres squared a litre which is 20 metres square per 2.5 litre tin for 1 coat. So all in all, completely misleading and inaccurate information regarding the coverage. I have spent twice as much as I expected and have only done 1 coat.

Very easy to apply
Easy to apply, gives a good finish, and rainwater tends to 'bead off' the wood after application. However, make sure no rain is forecast for a few days after application.
