You can apply this garden wood preserver from the Cuprinol Ultimate range to , using a brush, to colour and provide protection. It takes 2-6 hours to dry and will cover up to 5m² per litre on average.
- Suitable for Wood
- Water resistant
- Surface Preparation - Do not apply in temperatures or if rain is likely before the product has dried. Apply evenly, avoiding splashing of surrounding plants, brickwork, glass, PVCu etc. Any splashing should be cleaned up immediately (whilst still wet) with water & household detergent.

Excellent paint to protect wood
Been buying this for years. Great product, great colour. Lasts for a long time and doesn't require sanding before applying another coat.

Saved me time and money!
I bought this to weatherproof new compost tops and a new coal bunker top, instead of having to buy and fix on roofing felt. Three coats and the plywood is good for many years. Ultimate preserver
Have used this product for some years. Used on fence panels, pergola, stables and sheds. Lasts and looks good for several years. Easy to apply and soaks into the wood to preserve it. May cost a bit more than other similar products but you save in the long run.

The best fence preservative I've ever used
Can be dearer than other preservatives but top quality for durability and protection. Coverage is far better than many standard products and easier to apply.

Excellent product
This is a second order of the Cuprinol fench preserver as it is an excellent product as does the job extremely well with one coating

I think it will protect a long time, but...
It was easy to apply and one of these large tins gave 2-3 coats of coverage on the exterior of a new shiplap 4x6 shed. The first coat looked great. A nice dark oak colour with the timber still visible. The second coat (from the same well-stirred large tin) made it look like a lovely chocolate opaque paint. So I am removing 2 stars simply because I wasn't looking for an opaque paint like finish. I would have bought Cuprinol Shades for that. So ultimately, I hate the 2-coat colour, but the quality of the product looked to be good.

The B & Q team at Boston, Lincs….
… especially Victoria and James, on checkout duties, who were both so helpful to me (and each other) when I visited the local B&Q today. I was anxious because I did not want to cause a queue at the checkout ( due to not knowing how to take advantage of the store voucher I had received on my iPad ) but these two staff members were so helpful, kind and patient I needn’t have worried. Problem sorted AND shopping done - another can of Cuprinol Country Oak in the basket. Well done Boston B&Q.

I think this is a first class product
I have used this product on my wooden outside kennels for the past five years and it has kept the wood in excellent condition and fully weatherproof

The Best!
I always use this for my shed and gates. I like this particular colour - Country Oak - and it goes on particularly well.
