Cheap hob, looks good and works perfectly
Good value for money, easy to install but remember to use a qualified registered gas engineer.

Poor replacement recommendation
Bought this as the recommended replacement for a very similar one fitted with a complete kitchen which developed a defective valve but the controls were to the right of the burners and the large burner at the front. Because the controls are now at the front and main large burner at the rear you can not fit a large pan on the main burner and tiles to the rear of the hob now scorch when fitted into a standard 600mm worktop. The hob with the same configuration as the original sold with an oven is niw made 20mm wider at 600mm so would require the worktop to be modified. I would suggest anyone experiencing the same problem fit the dearer hob with a front wok burner and front controls

Very good value.
This is low price hob and on the whole, is good value for money. If you want top quality then buy a dearer product. Some of the reviews below are unjust. If you find the steel top scratching, or the print coming off then obviously you are ignoring the manufacturers advise. As for the review by "hereisabee" is a perfect example of someone attempting something he shouldn't. There is not meant to be a thread in the fixing bracket holes, as the long screws provided are "self tappers". Elementary stuff.

Faulty
Bought this hob in January along with new kitchen from B&Q and one of the gas burners the ceramic has started to bubble on only one not the other 3 burners. Rang cook and lewis and advised take photos and email over to them. I did they said cosmetic so not covered. By warranty as nothing mechanical wrong with it. !! I said I don't use nothing at all on the burners just dry t-towel for dust and if I had used product then wouldn't all the burners be like that ?,? No joy at all told me to buy a spare part, rang B&Q customer services and again no help. This is not acceptable it's clearly faulty goods and your trying to blame customer. Do Not buy this hob , all I wanted was a replacement burner not a full hob replacement .

Rubbish
I had this installed for 4 days and one of the nobs melted. Cook and Lewis, not helpful at all. They would only replace the nob or the hob. This is awful as it would happen again.

Good for a year !
I bought thi a couple of years ago, after one year one of the electric starters stopped working and the others can take up to 2 or three minutes to start.
