Perfect
CHANGE MY OLD HINGES FOR THESE HINGES, SO EASY TO DO. IAM NOT A KICHEN FITTER

Perfectly useable
Easy to fit and works great...only thing is they are a little longer than standard hinges which prevented me from using on all my cupboards.

Great product
Easy and quick to install or adjust. One advice is before attaching the door to the cabinet move the hinge outwards to the maximum using adjusting screw (second one ignore you are looking from the door side) as it will help aligning them with the predrilled holes.

Good hinges, no tool
Hinges aren't bad in themselves - easy to fit & adjust but when I asked for the forstner cutting bit required to recess these hinges into the doors I was told B&Q don't sell them. Why not?

Better than what we had originally
We bought 7 packs To change our original hinges to B&Q soft close hinges. We only changed one hinge on each door and they work very well. No complaints from us.

They will eventually fail. Mine took about 3 years
After about three years of daily usage, the hinge gave out, and I had to replace it. No big deal in itself, but when you consider a kitchen may have fifty or more of these in your kitchen, this could get expensive. I'm sure the risk of 100% failure is so minimal you can ignore it, but you should know the risk is there, and if you have a lot of hinges, you'll probably need to deal with this. Or to phrase it more zen, is the kitchen 99% working, or 1% borked?

Lack of adjustment options
Most of my kitchen cabinets open up next to either a wall, larder unit, extractor fan or boiler rendering these hinges unsuitable. You cannot just open your cupboards as far as you need and get what you need out of cupboard as they will fly fully open and crash into whatever is next to cabinet or they begin to close before you have gotten what you need! You therefore need to keep one hand on cupboard door leaving you only one hand for getting what you need! I cannot see why anyone would like them. They would not be so bad if you could restrict how far they open to 90 degrees but unlike other makes you cannot do this. The speed of closing is also an issue as they take a very long time to close and again unlike other makes there is no adjustment you can make!

No instructions, pack marked “instructions inside”
They look good quality but no instructions whatsoever, a little slip of paper inside explaining soft close feature but zero fitting instructions. Not the first to report this, clearly no one reads theses reviews at B&Q!

Rubbish Hinges not compatible with cabinets/doors
Bought a stack of these before Xmas to replace complete IT kitchen normal hinges with soft close. Soon found out that there are no instructions in the packs on how to adjust them, and when fitted they leave nearly a quarter inch gap between door and cabinet edge. Have had to refit all the old ones. Not at all pleased with B and Q rubbish

updates kitchen
Our Solid Oak kitchen cupboards are about 10 years old (still on sale though) I bought these to update the feel....top tip is just replace one hinge in each door and they work absolutely fine and obviously cost of update is cut in half
