- At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. -* not one star
I bought this paint assuming it will be pebble grey but its almost dark charcoal colour also the application is horrible its patchy you would think someone had pour oil in it wasted my money. Now I have to sand it down and buy a new paint and redo the job

Worst paint I've ever used
Dreadful paint, difficult to apply, coverage was very poor and patchy. The only positive is how nice the colour is. Not surprised their selling this off cheap!

Excellent Paint, though more grey than the image
It's great that B&Q now do exterior water based paints and this was my first time to try one. When I opened the tin my heart sank. The paint was dark blue and I thought I had the wrong colour. After a really good stir though the paint miraculously completely changed colour to a light grey. The tin says use a brush to apply but I used a mini sponge roller. This seemed to work really well with one caveat. When using a sponge roller the paint can leave small bubbles and if left will spoil the finish. The solution is easy though. Just go over the paint with roller a few minutes later to flatten out the bubbles. The coverage was excellent. The tin says apply two coats. I was applying a pale grey paint to a dark red front door - so a pretty sharp contrast in both colour and tone. After completing the first coat the coverage was so good I wasn't even sure I needed a second coat. Careful inspection revealed a few spots where coverage wasn't perfect though and also because it's outdoors I thought a second coat might add to the longevity of the coat. One tin is enough for two coats for a front door, inside and out. The paint separates if left for a short while so it's important to give it a stir every now and then. Also if you cover the roller / brush with a damp rag it can separate even there so best to squeeze out any excess paint before restarting. All in all an excellent paint. The colour seems a bit different to what I see on my monitor. On the PC it appears slightly olive but in reality it was plain grey which was disappointing. Apart from that though I'm very pleased with it and will definitely buy again.

Excellent product
This paint gave the same excellent results as more expensive paint on the outside wood panels of our house, and a lovely soft grey.

Really lovely colour
Lovely colour. Went on well. Could do with a 5L can of it!

Bad bordering on awful.
Goes on ok as long as you keep a good quality brush fully loaded. Do not leave a single run. If you go back to remove the excess even 5 minutes later it will have congealed. Needing sanding and repainting.
