This Dark plum gloss wood & metal paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply apply with a brush and leave for 2-4 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers up to 7.5 m² per litre on average.

Nearly didn’t buy it because of reviews
The reviews are pretty awful and almost put it back onto the shelf. That would have been a mistake. This is great quality paint. Covered a black composite door with ease in two coats. Reading the reviews I’d prepared myself for a watery paint and 5 coats but that wasn’t the case. A nice thick paint which applies easily and covers nicely. Really happy with the coverage and the colour. Full door done and less that 20% of the pot used. Nice paint, buy with confidence

Absolutely awful
This paint is terrible, put 2 coats on after spending whole day stripping the door and very poor coverage and patchy. Best to avoid !!!

Bad product
Very streaky and give very poor coverage on metal. Unless you want to do 4+ coats

shocking
how this rubbish is still on the shelves i dont know very bad brush marks that dont cover this stuff with a brush my door beads would have needed at least 6 coats . a little better with a roller but i stopped after to coats as it would have prob needed at least 2 more . now sanded it all back and redone with valspar paint all done in two coats and looks great and only cost me £4 more than this rubbish

good coverage
this paint went on very well and 2 coats have covered the light colour underneath and left a glossy surface that will keep out all the weather.

Don't buy if you want a gloss finish
I wish I had read Karl's review before I too spent all day prepping and painting my garage door. I have nothing more to add to Karl's review it sums up this paint perfectly. Off now to find another paint

Well it does dry quickly.
Perhaps the worst paint I have ever used. The finish is not gloss but gives the look of eggshell, impossible to achieve a nice finish as leaves brush marks. Having wasted a day prepping and painting my gate and garage door have resigned myself to stripping it and using something else. This paint shouldn't be on the shelves! The only good feature it washes off brushes cleanly under a tap enabling you to get back to the shop quicker to buy a better paint.

Fantastic Paint!!
Went on beautifully. Lovely colour. Used on metal door. Dried quickly, Touch dry within 30mins. I love my door!! Recommend it!
