Poor paint
I used this to paint an outdoor wooden bench which I'd cleaned and sanded down - i.e. prepared properly. I gave it 2 coats and left it indoors in the garage to dry so it didn't get rained on. Instructions say it dries in 4 hours. I gave it 2 coats with 24 hours between them then left it another day before putting outside. After light rain about a quarter of the paint has flaked off. I accept that the bench I painted was very old and not the best wood but this is basically a cheap and nasty product and you'd be best spending the money on a branded one.

Perfect for all outdoor working
I have for years painted exterior wood with this paint. Fencing decking doors gates. Perfect and better than those that say preserve wood for 5 years yet after two need painting again. It lasts fo over 8 years do far. Perfect but unknown product.

AWFUL PAINT - Needed 3 or 4 coats
Other reviews claim this paint is either brilliant or awful, not much in between, which is a bit odd. I used this (Colours brand) Conker colour water-based paint on ground floor and it needed several coats to cover on well prepared and undercoated surfaces. So I looked for an alternative to use on first floor ladder work and found Dulux Weathershield Conker colour solvent-based paint, which is more expensive, but what a difference... the Weathershield is so easy to use and gives brilliant coverage in just one coat. Drying time 16 hours but well worth it.

Very good paint
Used this on exterior pipes, gas/electric boxes and even brickwork with no undercoat and it looks fantastic and was very easy to apply and work with and left a nice gloss finish, I don’t understand the negative reviews I will be buying more to do some more of the same.

Awful
I too bought the green version of this paint. What a waste of my time, it dried with a dull, definitely not gloss finish, and shows every stroke of the roller I used. Two coats later and it’s just as bad, don’t bother with it -

Terrible, terrible paint
Bought some of this in the buckingham green colour as no Dulux Weathershield available in local store, despite stock showing on line. This was applied on properly prepared undercoat. This is barely thicker than water, does'nt cover the base material, doesnt 'flow' and doesnt dry gloss. I tried a couple of layers locally and the results were very poor. I returned this to store and demanded a refund as this products and many other 'colours' products are just not fot for purpose, nor worth the agro. Avoid these paints if at all possible would be my advice.

Good quality
Used this on drain pipes and a wooden door. Easy to apply and provides a nice clean looking finish. For the price spent definitely would buy again.

This is not gloss paint
I wish I had seen the latest reviews on this so called paint, it’s lucky I didn’t need it for a special job as it is just exterior fence paint. Do not buy if you have a job for real Gloss paint.

Very disappointed...
Bought this after looking through the website for a dark brown exterior paint for our front door ...after application it turned out a mid-toned brown. Very disappointed - will not buy from this range again, especially considering the price as well.

Coverage!!!!!!
Bought this as I have used it before, although not waterbased. I'm now going to apply a 3rd coat as the first two have not covered the grey undercoat the paint is so thin you are unable to lay off the paint for a smooth finish.
