Stay clear
Bought this to do a wooden banister, sanded down, sugar washed and under coated - 4 coats later and it is now wearing off - not impressed at all!

Weird but works
I bought this to paint a bedframe that had previously been painted white. It is honestly the strangest paint I have ever used. I have painted a lot of furniture and used a range of different paints but this was quite surprising. The first coat applied very poorly, the paint was like black tinted watery, slimy, sticky sludge which was very transparent in places. I was expecting to cut my loses and go and buy a different paint but I was pressed for time so decided to apply the second coat and hope it improved, well what a surprise the second coat gave a great finish, it was both smooth and a solid black. The paint was very quick drying and gave a really lovely finish on second coat.
