Would not recommend this product
We fitted 3 of these and all 3 have failed in different ways. After a year, the handle on the main bathroom door is all rusty, the lock piece on the outside of another bathroom door keeps falling out, and the worst one - the latch mechanism on the 3rd door got jammed somehow and we couldn't get into the bathroom (thankfully no one was locked inside) we ended up having to bust the door to get in. The latch mechanism fell apart when he door was eventually opened.

DON'T BUY - comes without the LOCK!!!!
I can't believe there are no formal responses to all of these 1 star reviews. This handle comes without the necessary locking mechanism and it doesn't tell you!!!! There are also NO instructions or illustrations - total waste of money

Never changed a door handle… Easy!
A quick google search on how to change door handle and was able to fit this easily. You can reverse the fitting easily to fit left or right sided door handle. Nice feel & quality.

The instructions are wrong
The product is sold as having a lock for bathrooms, but not only does the lock not actually work properly (there is no mechanism for the door handle to be locked if you turn the thumblock to locked) but there are no instructions on the box to explain how this works. The instructions are for the version without the thumblock. Do not buy this.

Product is good, but not great
So I bought enough handles for the entire 6 bed house. the handles themselves are good quality, the screws are not good quality at all, and indeed I've been and bought some better ones. they seem to get mashed quite easily. the second issue we have is that one of our bathrooms has a right handed door when exiting and the entire B&Q range doesn't seem to support that so I've got all bar one door with matching handles and a bathroom that I can't change the handle for. I'm going to see if it's possible to swap the mechanism around but my local store didn't seem to know.

Doesn’t work!
I brought this bathroom door handle. And the lock is on the outside of the bathroom door? Left very confused!? Can the lock be switched to the other side? Or do I need a left-handed lever handle????

Brilliant door handles
I never leave reviews but after seeing the reviews on here and having fitted fourteen of these to every door in my house, I felt I had to redress the balance. People have reviewed these as one star because they didn't include the latches. Door handles do not generally include latches (as often people are only replacing the handles) and the website makes this clear by suggesting you also add the latches to your basket if you need them. I used the existing latches for all my doors apart from the bathroom door locks which I replaced with the Yale sashlock (Yale P-M236-CH-63). Honestly, these handles are excellent! They look great - stylish with a really nice finish to them. They have a very strong return spring so feel really solid with no wobbles. And they are easy to fit - I used the bolt option that involves drilling right through the door. I'd recommend this method as I imagine it gives a more secure fit and it was easy enough to do - you just need to drill straight. I've fitted all three type - the standard, bathroom sashlock and key lock versions. They have a five year warranty which is great too. I really couldn't be happier with them.

Easy to fit, look good
I bought Yale latches to go with these and they're good quality. These handles look good, are quick to fit and seem to last ok. Fitted them to bedroom doors and bathrooms (with thumb lock), with no problems. Kit comes with the option of screw fixing or screw-ended bolts.

No instructions and doesnt provide you eveything
I bought this and assumed this would have everything I needed to put a new door handle up, but doesnt include the items needed for inside the door. My previous items are broken. It should say on package, you will need this item.. and actual name it. Pictures are not good for newbies

Help- don't know how to fit so that thumlock works
There's no instructions on how to fit the thumb-lock (handle) - there seems to be, maybe, a piece missing from the back of the rear handle? (that stops the handles from opening) It's just spinning around - please advise how to fit it please?! I'm wondering if you have to set the thumb-locks into a certain position first?
