Dimensions and matching fittings clarified
These tubes are simple and strong, but the description could be clearer. We've had these rails for years in one house, now I'm building them into wardrobes in another one. Here's the information I wish had been available when I ordered them. The tubes actually have an oval section 15.5mm x 30.5mm and a 0.5mm wall thickness. There are nice push fit brackets available that match perfectly, but are rather confusingly described as 'Colorail chrome effect rail socket (Dia) 20mm' Pack of 2, product code 5013144005676. They do exist, even if the search facility can't find the product code!

Strength but also looks good
Exactly what we were looking for to finish off our wardrobes (Perkin from B&Q). Easy to cut to length and matching fittings easy to level/fit. Would have been good to have different lengths available - we had a lot of waste as one length not quite enough to do two rails. Maybe 1m and 2m would be more flexible

Chrome Effect steel oval tube
This item is very good and strong. I wish you could get shorter lengths as in our Poole branch you can only buy lengths of 1.829m, whereas all the other bars other lengths are available.
