Failed Unit
I bought and installed this item 18 months ago and it has now stopped working. I tested it one every 2 weeks and all was as it should - but the last test showed that hte unit had failed . It was not the batteries. I would have thought that a product with such a vital job to do should be beyond failure. Still mustn't grumble -

Was good when it worked
I bought this product around one year ago. It now bleeps to say their is a fire and the only way to silence it is to remove the batteries. It was due for replacement in October 2022 not 2018.

Good combination
Having one device to cover both smoke and carbon monoxide alerts is a great idea. It was easy to fit and is less obtrusive than two separate units.

Smoke & Carbon Monoxide alarm
Easy to fit, neat and unobtrusive, regular testing simple to carry out. Fortunately we have not had to rely on it in an emergency to date but feel sure it will meet our needs if the occasion arises.

Smoke/Carbon Alarm
Easy to fit. Looks good. Loud alarm. Don't know yet if it acctually works. If it does I will right another review.

Excellent product
Very good alarm that was very easy to fix to existing holes in ceiling from previous alarm - various options for fixing on back plate. Instruction leaflet unfolded to be huge - a simple booklet would be better. Instructions for use not very clear. Overall a good item
