New timber adds years to an old picnic table.
I bought this 89x38mm planed timber to repair my picnic table.. The table is fifteen years old and, although I clean and repaint it with Cuprinol each year, one of the cross-bars supporting the seats rotted out around the bolts and my son-in-law went crashing to the ground. Fortunately, he did not spill his beer and he was unhurt. Having unbolted the broken pieces, I used them as a template for cutting the new timber and drilling the holes in the right place. With a new coat of Cuprinol, You'd never know the table had let us down. It'll easily last another fifteen years.

Price hike ruins bargain timber.....
Lots of knots and warping due to being damp. Plus price increase is no longer super competitive, will look back at proper timber yards from now on.
