Disappointing reformulation
This product has such variation in quality it has changed from being a smoth facing composite brick in either a pinkish or white hue to being an inferior minature breeze block with mottled appearance with sand and stones liable to chip off. The uses are this very limited to filling and minor hidden areas that need to be frost proof

Good bricks for purpose
Concrete bricks bought to support back of patio storage box as there is a gully at back. Was disappointed that one brick was broken, a whole corner missing, I'd of refused it, but hubby picked them up and accepted it... hence 3 stars. You could do better by checking items are in good condition before passing them on.

Correction to previous review
Varying size - between 98mm and 102mm width. The greyish ones are the main culprit- the reddish ones appearing more uniform. Still good value.

Good value but size variable
Bought 200 or so to build up raised bed walls for my veg [ existing wooden rotten] I like the appearance - the colour varies between red ish and grey ish but that's fine for me. With no frog there is a lot less mortar needed than clay based bricks so that's good too. But the width of the bricks varies from 102 mm to 198mm. This seems odd as they must be mass produced but there it is . No problem for me as aesthetics are not a high priority and I've just ensured that the external [ visible] surfaces are plumb. Good to be aware , though.
