Does the job, but….
I read the reviews for this bathroom lock but as these aren’t common, I thought the reviews can’t all that accurate…. And they aren’t. This is up to the job BUT considerable care needed. Not for the ham-fisted DIYer! First, the slot needs to be a clearance fit, particularly as the cam mechanism steps outside the lock casing when in use. Second, the mechanism needs lubricant, light oil or grease, particularly on the roller/cam pivots. Third, ensure the through holes are big enough for the lock shafts to turn, not just big enough for the spindle. Finally, take great care to align everything when fitting. ANY misalignment will result in stiff operation. It does take patience and care to fit, but if you do, you’ll have an adequate bathroom locking door!

Terrible, impossible for children to lock/unlock
This product is terrible, it is impossible for children to lock or unlock the mechanism is so stuff. Same as the silver version.

Again the same problem......you assume the dimensions of this product would be the same as their own tubular latch......but no......it's longer.....very poor.

Returned as not suitable
There were no dimensions on your description of the product, so I was unable to check that the distance from the mounting plate to the spindle hole matched my door/handles before I purchased the product. When received, the dimension didn't match, so I returned the products to your Burton-on-Trent store.
