Great features and a perfect upgrade
Purchased to replace a Bosch Hob which was standard electric. The full induction hob is a great upgrade. The Flex option on the rectangular hot plate is really useful and when used with the perfect fry the results are excellent. The new hob has a deeper profile but fitted the existing cut out fine. Pleased with purchase.

Induction cooking
Great product but my hob broke down after just over a year old. Luckily I took out an extended warrenty on this applience. Bosch pulled out all the stops to get it fixed even though there were spares in the country for the part needed. The engineer who attended was outstanding. It didn't put me off Bosch products.

Sleek hob
Great controllability, timer function is great, and the flexibility is good. Downside, it's extremely nosiy when cooking on the 3 rings, as it clicks between them, very annoying & frustrating....if cooking more than 2 pans, you have to use the flex induction side.

Mirror Finish
I love the look of this hob, it is mirror like, it's beautiful. On the functionality side, it has 2 normal size cooking spots. One larger one in the middle and the large right hand size flex areas that I believe can take a larger pot or can be split down into two areas for two larger pots (I haven't used this yet, so am not able to say anymore in this area. It's very easy to keep clean when using specialist hob cleaner (I have been using Astonish Hob Cleaner and its mirror clean after each use). This is the first induction I have had, so taking a little time to get used to, but find anything below 7 (1-9 heat settings) doesn't appear to be particularly hot find myself using 7 to 9 most of the time so assume lower if I want to simmer. Also, be aware, make sure you have induction compliant cookware by checking by putting a magnet on the bottom of them, if sticks should be ok, if doesn't the induction hob won't accept.I had to shed half my pans as non compliant and replenish with induction compliant ones.

No regrets after switching from gas
Very happy with this Bosch induction hob. It's incredibly easy to clean and reacts quickly to setting changes. The PerfectFry mode sounds like a gimic but is fantastic - so good I wish it had a simillar mode for simmering and boiling. Water boils quicky, steaks brown beautifully and it all just works. The only thing I would change is the single shared set of control. It's quite easy to turn the wrong zone up or down, particularly when two of us are cooking at the same time or when you have multiple pans going at the same time.
