- This decking should be laid onto treated deck joists on joist centres of no more than 400mm. If laying diagonally the maximum joist centres should be 300mm. It is important to seal the ends of trimmed boards before laying in order to protect fully

Not what I would call Premium
Used this board for decking at rear of house, aside from quite a few misshapen and cracked boards the colour soon faded, within 6 months was a "silver greyish colour" had to stain to bring back to what we ordered. Would not use again.

Excellent vslue
Bought 90 boards, wee bit wary due to not picking own boards, as home delivery only. Boards all very good on a discount too

Really bad quality
I bought 29 decking slats and 5 are really bad quality. Splintered, cracked, bent and large knots apparent. Due to the size the logistics of getting them returned to store and replaced is not really viable. For the price I expected much better. I wouldn't class these as premium and I would not recommend. One positive, of the ones that are not broken, the overall look of the boards is great - really let down by the quality.

Ordered 72 - 23 were damaged!
I ordered 72 for home delivery which was placed on the highway only to find that 23 were damaged (some so obviously that whoever loaded them can't have bothered with even a cursory inspection) Had to move them all into my side return and store them knowing that I couldn't use them. Have now spent over 25 minutes on hold trying to organise an exchange for these but no one is picking up!

Poor quality
I had 15 delivered, all bundled together. On opening the bundle I found 5 out of 15 to be damaged beyond use. In addition, B&Q have been very difficult in trying to resolve this, almost impossible to contact. There are plenty of places selling deck boards, next time I'd go elsewhere.

Superb material
It is being used to replace ourwoode walkways, it is a lovely material to work with and when stained looks beautiful

Beware of warped boards
Very nice quality product but a couple were quite badly warped, probably due to poor storage and more pronounced because of the length. Delivered promptly by two very nice guys who took them through the garage and put them exactly where i wanted them. Well done to b&q for good delivery service. Product looks very nice now it is down and secured. Loss of stars is due to the warping only

GREAT
i had to order online for delivery as could not get it home , i like to pick my own decking so i only get good product .This time i had to let the store pick it for me ,I must say i only received 1 dodgy plank and was able to use 95% of that plank so all was not lost . I have used B&Q decking in the past and it has always been good ,nice and wide you just have to look after it with a good stain .The delivery was excellent phone call prior to turning up could not fault the drivers
