Good colour and sizes

These chippings have finished of a project nicely.

Disappointed

Agree with previous reviewer that they need lots of hosing down to get rid of the debris and dirt but my main disappointment was that they are not remotely green in colour. They are definitely more grey than green which if I'd known would have bought grey in the first place. Very misleading description in my opinion.

Beautiful after a good soak in hot soapy water

So glad a bought these. I used common sense and soaked them in a bucket of hot water with washing up liquid for half an hour, then rinced them in clean good old cold water. They came up absolutely beautiful, and they still look lovely after 3 weeks . I do hose them down once a week when I water the grass as well .

Dirty chippings

Green slate chippings are of a turquoise colour that only look green when wet. Importantly, every bag had chippings coated in a yellow rock dust and look grey. They need heavy washing to bring out the colour. It took half an hour per mini bag.

Green slate chippings

Disappointed to find that one of the green slate chippings that we purchased today included sand and other small stones/pebbles.
