No instructions
As everyone has said , lack of instructions. Only found out from these reviews. How many people does it take to switch on a lightbulb never mind change it!

looks oK - but need telepathy to get it to work
Why on earth is it too much to ask to have simple instructions. Only the numerous poor reviews helped me find out how to make it work - shame on such a large business!!

Flicked the switch and ... pretty
At first I was waiting for the light to turn on, then peeling back invisible plastic, but when I read the reviews I tried to unscrew it . There is a switch! And they look very pretty BUT you don’t have to unscrew the bulb. Simply gently twist the bulb until the glass comes away and the TINY switch is in the middle behind the wires don’t pull or twist anything vigorously. Honestly I would buy more of these for a twinkly look.

Very fragile
Very thin glass on bulbs and a complete mystery on where the on switch is as there are no instructions on the label. Tried unscrewing the bulb to see if a switch was underneath and the bulb shattered cutting my hand. But that is where the switch is! Very bad design!

No instructions on how to activate
I bought this today, tried to activate it by taking off the plastic cover on top of the bulb, I then looked online to see from other users that there was a switch if the top was unscrewed. It is working now but will probably get rain inside the bulb in due course. Very disappointed that no instructions were given!

Dangerous Design
You have to unscrew the very thin glass bulb to turn this on - We bought two of these, the first bulb broke in my hand whilst unscrewing, leaving shards of glass on my hands and floor. Very poor design.

Having a few problems!
I bought two of these - they look lovely but one stopped working after a week or so. I took that back & replaced with another one using click & collect but when I got it home the glass bulb had come away from the holder. I have now ordered another replacement - hopefully third time lucky!
