Don't buy Beko
Had this installed for 3 months when the glass cracked under normal use. Hadn't heard of this ever happening so I wasn't worried, knowing I was still under warranty. B&Q told me to call Beko directly (eventually), who kindly informed me this wasn't covered under warranty. I didn't even know this glass could crack, as I'd never heard it be a problem. Won't be touching Beko again.

Product review
I have read the other 2 reviews left for this product and I must agree that you must be aware that induction hobs will require a very high level electrical cable and your electrical panel must be up to date to cope with it. An electrician is also required to fit the hob and really think about the channeling of the cable to the electrical panel as unless you do a new kitchen it may be tricky to channel the cable. For me it was fairly easy as I did a new kitchen and the cable run from the hob up in the loft then down to the electrical meter in the hallway. The product quality is good it's been 6 months and works perfectly well. Easy to clean and I really like it. For an indication hob the price is really cheap. I fully recommend this item.

Electrican: "Totally unusable"
I had a gas hob but wanted to do my bit for the environment. I checked the specs very carefully, I have a background in engineering but not electrical engineering. I waited 4weeks not 14days but the 7200W might say "This is not a standard electrical fitting and if you are changing from gas you need to get an electrician to visit BEFORE you order because we can't be bothered to tell you that you will probably have to spend another £500 on a special cable run through your house." B&Q couldn't be bothered to send an email a week in advance "Don't forget to book an electrician because this is NOT a standard plug fitting"...if they had I wouldnt have been waiting another week. Induction hobs are a whole jump in technology requiring a complete review of your electrical system FIRST so after 5-6 weeks I cannot cook. I am a disabled person on limited income with a sound technical background, if 7200W doesnt shout out at me, it isnt sufficient for the average customer. This makes a total JOKE of any claim B&Q makes to "service", which it constantly repeats. So after all that research & all that waiting, I still CANNOT cook. This is like playing snakes & ladders, it is just a marketing game. You have been warned and I will never trust B&Q again. This is NOT service, this is a lack of basic clarity about the technological metaphor that this is. I have spent a career in technical communication (to keep planes in the sky) and this is a total failure of technical communication.

Terrible and unreliable.
Never worked well. Certain rings would randomly stop working. When the repair man came out it I couldn’t replicate the problem so didn’t replace under warranty. Eventually broke completely when just out of warranty.
