DO NOT BUY

I bought this product after going in store and using the free kitchen design service who designed my kitchen with this hob. We have had it installed for 5 months and it’s just gone bang. Wish we had seen the reviews before buying as it seems like a common problem. B&Q please stop selling this product.

Faulty and Unreliable

This is the second time that this model hob has blown whilst in use. The first one lasted around 6 months and this one lasted only 4 months, before a loud pop disabled half of the cooking zones. I'm currently arranging a refund and will not replace again.

Abaolute joke. DO NOT BUY

Same as everyone else. First one went bang after about 8 months, the Beko engineer came out and said we needed a replacement hob (under warranty). The replacement arrived and has been working about 3 months and today has gone bang too. So frustrating. Especially now that I'll have to find an exact sized replacement hob due to the already cut out size in my worktops. Don't waste your money.

Repeated fault renders hob useless

Much the same as the other reviews that have been posted. I bought this in Feb 2023 and had to have an engineer from Beko visit in July as there has been a loud bang, following which - nothing worked. This was repaired by replacing all the hob's circuit boards, at which point I was advised that this was unusual, and hadn't been something the engineer had encountered before. Here we are, 6 months later and there has been another deafening bang and 2/3 the hob has been rendered useless. I have now requested a refund from B&Q (having read the other reviews that have appeared since first buying the hob) as it is clearly not fit for purpose. Overall, this is a shame as it looks really good and excluding the significant inconveniences caused by its malfunction, has worked well. Regards the hob - avoid at all costs. Regards B&Q customer service - I am hopeful that they support me given the ongoing nature of the fault.

Same as the other reviews…. Hob was installed for 8 weeks was all going great until it made a really loud bang and a huge spark shot up from the top left hob ring. There must be some sort of fault with them. Don’t waste your money buy a more reliable brand.

Inherently faulty product - don't buy!

Similar to other reviewers, we had this induction hob installed for a couple of months before it sparked & popped and stopped working... All we had were flashing lights and random signals on the display. A Beko contractor came to look at it and said the power control module had failed and he needed parts. The parts took too long to come out as they were out of stock at the warehouse (unsurprising given how faulty the product seems to be). Still trying to resolve this in time for Xmas.

Absolutely awful, stay away from this appliance

I bought one of these as part of my new kitchen install as I wanted a 5 zone hob that wasn’t gas for easier cleaning. The first one lasted a week at best with a loud pop and spark being seen and heard, to then trip the electrics and then be constantly turning on and off on its own. Thankfully it was a pretty straightforward of a replacement under warranty/guarantee and fitted by an approved installer after 2 and a half weeks from reporting the fault (initially through beko to then not be informed of the process of going in store to sort it out) . Unfortunately as of tonight about 2 months later, the same has happened again, with another loud pop and spark, tripping of the electrics but thankfully this time only half the hob doesn’t work so can at least continue to make basic meals as all we need is one ring for now. But leading up to Christmas and hosting the family dinner because of the new kitchen has gone down the pan. Really disappointed that this has happened again and really would recommend staying clear of this unit and would give it negative stars if I could
