Does the job but flimsy

On the positive, shed looks good once assembled and has good storage space, that was very important. Panelling is a bit flimsily though so can't rest anything heavy on walls - bit of a limitation for shed! Also, any knocks to structure (inevitably in a shed) result in dents to wall panels as they are so thin. Chipboard flooring is rubbish and gives way easily! B&Q really need to sort this out as it lets product down. If installed on timber battens you will not be able to walk between battens with any confidence and if you get any water spillage on floor don't expect to be able to walk on it until dry. I replaced flooring immediately with solid timber floorboards. Given a 2 star because even though product looks good on installation many will find structure is far too delicate for storing some items and if things need to be moved around a lot inside, you're bound to dent panels at some stage soon. Install on flat floor and suggest paying extra £100 and getting it installed by fitters. Will save hours of stress as hundreds of tiny 5mm screws to put in. Even fitters took 3hrs, managed to dent some panels and left out some screws.

Very Disappointed

Extremely disappointed with this shed. Very flimsy and buckles quite extensively. Lots of gaps in the shed and water coming through. I would not have bought it had I seen it in the showroom first, but there were none available to view. No padlock with the shed so had to buy my ownl. Not very sturdy at all and had to buy extra wood for the shed floor as very thin plywood. Woud definitely not recommend buying this shed.

Dissapointed

I wanted to replace my old Wooden shed which has suffered from regular mice attacks with a more solid metal shed. This one arrived and it does look very good from the outside and the sliding doors to me are a real space saver. The prospect of rot and rodent resistance tempted me with this product, although I bought it sight unseen as I could not find one locally. The shed arrived just around 4 weeks after I ordered it and the fitters erected it fairly quickly. I am however disappointed with the structure. The fitter advised me not to push against the sides of the shed in case the panels buckle, I was able to move the whole shed around on my own to position it. Whilst the shed is made of metal the panels appear to be thin in my opinion. I cannot lean normal things against the inside of the shed without the panels flexing and that is in my view a huge disadvantage over a wooden shed as I do not want to buckle the panels and ruin the look of the shed. I have yet to see if it is rodent resistant as there appear to be several little air gaps that I believe a mouse could wriggle through, but I hope I am wrong. I wanted a strong metal shed and if I had seen this first I would not have bought this one and I would have used my money for something else. This may well be right for you, but I regret buying it.

Perfect Purchase

Received my roomy 6x8 metal shed two days ago, Love the golden colour, it sits back against the fence and is not as imposing as a darker, green one might have been. It looks far more expensive than it cost and was installed in just over an hour by two friendly fitters who arrived early and left the site clear. I'd strongly recommend paying the extra money for assembly. We only had to provide a level spot for it to be placed, far less time and work for us. Very happy customer. Thank you B&Q and thank you Rowlinson.

Real Eye Catcher

Never had a metal shed before and bought sight unseen apart from the photo. Just spent a fortune on monoblocking and still needed a shed. Visitors/passers by said it was a great job but all of them asked 'Where did you get the shed?' It really complements the monoblocking and they find it difficult to believe it came from B&Q! Delivery was excellent, the construction crew were very professional and the site was left spotless. We cannot say just how pleased we are.
