Bit flimsy but functional
Bought (after seeing it displayed instore) for a low kitchen ceiling, so low that I can touch the lamp. I added an on/off switch to the centre of the dome so I don't have to walk to the wall every time I want to read the writing on a packet. It works well for this purpose. The light gives a bright but not blinding light in both modes. I am glad I had some spare terminal strip though as the one supplied was made of cheese metal, stripping the screw terminal threads with no effort. Also, I had to use google to find this product to write this review as it was impossible to find on BnQ's search function! Try finding "Angoon" and you'll get is 1000 results for "Argon". Sort out your search function BnQ!

Lovely light but dodgy driver
After around 6 months of moderate - average - use the light on both settings is flickering, beginning to flash, the tell tale sign of a faulty LED driver. I imagine the receipt is lost so I'm not clear on warranty. I guess without proof there is no warranty. But a driver failing after such a brief period time is not acceptable. I will be forced to buy a new driver and repair. When working I was very happy with the illumination and warmth and fitting was very straight forward.

This is a superb light
I have 2 of these lights in our kitchen and they are perfect. They have a choice of 2 levels of light. Initial turning on is a warm white light and then switching off the light and switching it on again gives a very bright white light. The are an extremely decorative and very functional light. I can’t recommend them enough.
