Good quality for the price, but difficult!
I found this flooring to be good quality and you can tell the difference from 10mm to 12mm flooring. This flooring does take some thought as you need to measure the each plank taking into account the pattern. So for a square room, you'll be fine, but for a hall way (what I did), its an absolute pig. 10-20% wastage on a square room, 30+% on anything else. I made numerous mistakes as you've always got to measure the room against the pattern. Not for a novice I would say. Tip - trim down/sand the tongue & groove to ease awkward sections into place. Don't hit the board too hard as the edges can snap!

Do not buy this product
This product is not fit for purpose!! It’s been the worst laminate to fit by far. It took me two days to put down when normally it would’ve been a four hour job. It is absolute toilet. It reminded me how bad laminate was in 1989. I’m thinking of asking b and q to pay for the booze i’m having to drink to forget....

Terrible to fit!
I wish I’d thought more about the bad reviews when I bought this. We are experienced DIYers and have fitted floors before. This was impossible to fit and a useless design. As with other reviews we ended up having to cut part of the edge off to make it work. It has taken a week to fit the floor. If we hadn’t cut it we would have taken it all back. So disappointed, would give it no stars if that was possible Avoid at all costs!

Steer clear
Brought for dining room and conservatory really disappointed!! Didn't click into place at all really difficult to lay even by qualified joined wouldn't recommend at all not at all what I expected for the money wouldn't recommend amateur to try and lay

Looks Brilliant...
I was undecided between this and the Parquet style but so glad I went for the "Chevron" look it has made my kitchen look bigger as previous flooring was laid Utility Room Door to main wall, and now it is laid from cooker to window and hall door to patio door and has opened the kitchen up, it just looks great and looks and feels expensive. Also looks "cleaner" to make sure it keeps its good looks I have put "pads" on all the chairs etc., to minimise scratching. x

Worst click system
As an experienced DIYer and having fitted laminate flooring previously, I was confident the click system couldn't be as bad as many reviewers have mentioned. How wrong I was. The instructions stipulate that you click in the first board on the next row understandably, but to attach your next board, you have to remove the previous one despite what the instructions say. As such, to lay a long row, you would need 4 or 5 people to even attempt to click a 6 metre run in one operation. After many 'choice' words of frustration, I found a work-around. Using a sharp knife, lightly trim off the tiny upstand lip of the tongue on the short side with a flat blade. By doing so you can click the long edge into the previous row and then tap the short edges together to obtain a tight joint. This was achieved using a hammer an offcut so as to protect the joint edge. Really nice once laid but took two days due to wasted time, when this really should have been an easy one day install with a quality click system for 25m2 floor. Never again. You what you pay for!

Simple and easy to fit
easy to fit and looks great fitted, although due to the pattern there is some waste, the look of the finished floor is excellent

Looks beautiful, tricky to fit
We considered parquet flooring initially however we were on a budget so when I saw this flooring I fell in love with the style & the price. My husband is a builder by trade & really cursed laying this floor. If your floor isn't level then it's a tad tricky to get it to match up. We used 9 packs for a 12m square space with at least a pack of wasted off cuts due to the pattern. However we'd read this on here before we purchased it so brought an additional pack. I'm so thrilled with the finish, it's worth persevering so just breathe through the tricky spots. It's worth it I promise

I'm close to taking the flooring up and returning it to the shop, it's taken me all day to fit 4 packs, really hard to join together, looks ok when down though

Lovely floor
I've just laid this floor across the whole of ground floor. Whilst having other work done 4 joiners fitted c.65 sqm in 1 day. They moaned it was a pain to fit but only because of having to match up the pattern. No issues with the lock/click system. I love the herringbone pattern and being in planks this was far quicker to lay than little strips given the area I wanted covering. The only down side is that the plank joins are slightly visible. However I hope that once furniture is in this is less noticeable. A few reviews mentioned excessive wastage but it you think about having to match a pattern, which wouldn't be required with Std laminate, then it stands to reason there would be more offcuts than usual. Overall, for the price, ease of fit and design in really pleased with my choice. For the price or feels really good value.
