Enjoy near silent running of your sliding wardrobe doors, with these 9 folding door gear, which are used as a folding door gear for fitting doors to fold either side of an opening. Ideally for use suited for doors from 25mm (") to 34mm ( 3/8") thick & doors up to 600mm (2'0") wide. It is reliable and low maintenance. It includes top track including pivot bracket, slide guide, top & bottom pivots, jamb brackets, hinges, door aligner & fixing screws. You will need a screwdriver, 0 mm spanner, hacksaw, marker, drill & tape measure.

great value
Fantastic value, has all the components needed including the hinges to transform ordinary doors into bi-fold, up to two sets of doors for set this 1.219mm, whats more less than a 1/4 of the price of other leading DIY stores

Handles terrible!
Sliding gear no problems but the handles they include are awful. Better to get your own. Apart from that pretty good vaue.

Replacing old damaged system for a bedroom door
System works well and is very smooth. Purchased to replace old damaged system for a bedroom door with little clearance top and bottom. Problem as the top pivot is 15mm long and at least that clearance is needed initially at the top of the door. To overcome that removed the top track, set the bottom pivot to the required length, fitted the pivot on to the jamb bracket with the door partially opened so it was self supporting, fitted the top track on to the top pivots and position the track back in position. It fitted perfectly and no need to raise the door to set the bottom pivot. Because the top of the door is very close to the top track had to replace the clamping screws in the snugger and fixed pivot block with grub screws so they do not protrude out of the blocks. Also turned the fixed pivot block round for easy access to the the clamping screw. Will purchase again.

Found the system easy to fit and very strong setup. My only complication, was that I was able to purchase a kit for 4 doors cheaper than one for 2 doors, so ended up with a pack of fittings spare.

wish you could buy bits separately
We had a door to repair after our teenager held a party. This was the keenest price we could find and the reserve and pick up went smoothly. The only issue is that we had to buy the whole kit but only needed one of its components. Would be good if we could buy the the bits we needed separately

excellent piece of kit
Bought this after trying to replace an original top rail and runners for a 2 door system from a different manufacturer which was awful and lasted 2 weeks before literally falling apart. This kit while less than half the price contains materials to fully equip 4 doors including all hinges and other items needed. I had to drill the existing holes out slightly and although they were not in the specified position according to the instructions supplied, everything worked perfectly. The result was an easily installed and perfectly working door mounted on robust hardware and I also have a full set of spare parts for the runner system and some brass hinges and screws to use on other projects - result and well done B&Q

Easy to follow instructions, but the final adjustments to the bottom pivot assembly were difficult due to the shape of the spanner provided
