rebuild it - 1 / 5 - 04/02/2018

Can't believe this is sold a front door

I bought this as I needed an odd size door for an out building and I could see it was so cheaply made I could easily break it apart, cut it down to the size I needed and then rebuild it. It's little more than a gate. Most of it is only 10mm thick soft pine stapled together. A good kick would break it apart. Even though I live in a low crime rural area I'm still going to beef it up a lot! And the picture on the website shows it fitted and still looking pine. But the instructions say it has to painted (not even stained)

Poor finish

Not sure if it is the way these doors are stored but after getting it home and starting to paint it I noticed it was warped quite badly. Unfortunately I had started to paint it so have had to try and take the twist out of it. Will probably never buy another door from here again.

Staples used on the door not very good

The boards had to be renailed due to the staples weren't strong enough

External wood door for shed

Bought week ago for shed. Warped and twisted but have struggled to fix and fit. Was only warped 5mm so not covered for refund. Twisting more of a concern but need to do fitting today. Hoping it doesn't turn out to be 72 quids worth of firewood.

reasonable

Can't fight with the price but not very durable and not very secured. Do the little works with fixings ..apply some screws ..then it will be strong door.

Excellent product. Great value.

I ordered the door about 1month ago. It was delivered to my house as promised at the time they said. I've had the door fitted and I've varnished it. I'm extremely pleased with it.

Good to look at but not good quality

I bought the door but not happy that I bought it as it turned to be not solid wood

Not worth it

I bought this to be a outside door for my boiler room and it is soo poor. The frame is solid but the rest of the door is very weak thin pine. Cheaper and better doors elsewhere

poor construction

Whilst satisfied with the door it did need work to make it better. The braces between the crosses both fell out on unpacking and the stapling had left unsightly holes in the face of the door. I have since seen a better product in your store.
