Great quality and good weight
Really impressed with the quality of the door. Extremely difficult to find a small but heavy door like these.

Excellent product
I wanted a door that would blend with my other house furnishings and did not require painting or have any ledges or patterns in which dust can collect. This door certainly ticks all the boxes.

Heavy weight door for busy household
We had two of these fitted just over a month ago, The joiner was surprised by the weight after telling us to go and see this type of door at a special door supplier. There is enough of an edge to adjust the fit which he did without going into the central material of the door, but correct measuring of what you need is essential otherwise you will take off the edge. Ours had a leaflet inside to say there was 6mm of adjustment on each side. We were also informed that they could be sealed/varnished if we felt that they needed to be or if we wanted to hide any scratches that may happen.

Morton Internal door for busy household!
Had two fitted recently, joiner was amazed by the weight, he did have a lot of adjustment to do to fit them for us but was able to balance the amount taken from each side easily. Look really nice and have received complements from visitors since being fitted. Great purchase,

cheap construction and hard to fit!
The doors look very good, lovely 'expensive' finish and good weight. BUT..... We have a professional joiner installing 9 of these doors and he is having an absolute nightmare. The doors are solely constructed from a compacted chipboard type mix which is then encased in thin veneer both sides, top and bottom. There is a 1/3 of inch solid wood on each vertical edge for hanging the doors. There is no framework to these doors whatsoever. This means that cutting the doors to size is extremely tricky as the veneer lifts on the cut and then leaves a rough chip board surface to the bottom/top of the door. They are easy to chip and hard to repair. Thankfully I paid far less than they are currently on offer for, but If I'd known about how they were really made, I would have chosen others instead! You have been warned.

Poor overall quality
Whilst the outward appearance of these doors are excellent the structure is very poor. The 6mm oak edges are woefully inadequate for many purposes and do not take account of the length of screws and locks/catches that need to be used. The internal construction of the doors so revealed is extremely friable and necessitates a bonding agent to firm up the surface and screw holes to be sometimes re-inforced with rawlplugs and a suitable fixative. Having been a 'second fix' carpenter for over 40 years I found these doors the most challenging ever. They may be OK in new construction where there is no planing to be done but this does not overcome the lack of fixing points for ironmongery.
