    Thompson & Morgan Lilac ‘Katherine Havemeyer’ is a beautiful, spreading variety that bears elegant panicles of double lavender-blue flowers produced against a backdrop of heart-shaped foliage. A quick growing, trouble-free variety, Thompson & Morgan Lilac ‘Katherine Havemeyer’ has nectar rich, fragrant blooms that are perfect for drawing butterflies and bees into your garden. A well-love specimen shrub for cottage garden borders that requires little maintenance. Choose a position in full sun when growing Thompson & Morgan Lilac ‘Katherine Havemeyer’ and plant in rich, fertile, well-drained soil. Young specimens will benefit from a sheltered position. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season until established. Prune in winter or spring by removing any damaged, diseased or misplaced stems before lightly shaping the remaining stems.
