Swift Plinth Foundation Kits for garden rooms supply everything you need to create the foundations for a garden room. With each individual pad capable of supporting a tonne load, the kits are suitable for most timber or SIP’s panel buildings with the added benefit of DIY installation. Easy to install without special equipment or training, each plinth can be carried and installed by one person. The Kits come ready to accept 2” timber beams (not included) to create a frame to support the floor, and the height adjustable plinth brackets allow for installation on sloping or undulating ground whilst isolating the building from ground moisture. With strong environmental credentials, plinth foundations reduce the amount of concrete used to support the building.

• Consists of 9 height adjustable precast concrete DIY foundation pads for garden rooms each capable of supporting a 1 tonne load – no curing time required so can be built on immediately.
• Ready to accept 2” thick timber beams (not supplied) to create a frame to support the floor of a garden room up to 4x4m
• Eco-friendly foundations with strong 'green' credentials - plinth foundations pads use up to 90% less concrete than a slab, and do not disturb the natural drainage patterns in the ground. All components can be picked up by hand, making them removable and re-usable.
• Height adjustable metal brackets isolate the building from ground moisture and keep it dry. The height can be adjusted by up to 50mm using a spanner at any time during the life of the building.
• Can be installed on sloping or uneven sites (height difference up to 120mm) without needing to level the ground first.
• Installation is simple and easy requiring no special skills, no previous experience and no special tools.
• Non-invasive foundations - can be used near tree roots or underground services without damaging them, or on rocky ground.
• Each Kit comes complete with precast concrete plinth stones, rust-resistant height adjustable metal brackets in assorted shapes, ground reinforcement grids, weed resistant membrane and 10mm pea-gravel.
